Avision of noted conservationist, Bass Pro Shops founder and Ozarks native Johnny Morris, Big Cedar Lodge offers a world-class wilderness resort that combines a shared appreciation for nature and conservation with a golf experience like no other. It is a pilgrimage for avid golfers and outdoor enthusiasts alike, highlighting the most breathtaking vistas in the Ozarks through the eyes of legendary golf architects – Bill Coore, Ben Crenshaw, Tom Fazio, Jack Nicklaus, Arnold Palmer, Gary Player, Tom Watson and Tiger Woods.
Playing golf at Big Cedar Lodge connects guests to the beauty and history of the Ozarks, giving players an opportunity to touch and feel millions of years of nature. This experience is highlighted by 300 million year old natural rock formations at the Mountain Top Course designed by Gary Player, free-ranging bison alongside Buffalo Ridge Springs, natural attractions like the Lost Canyon Cave and Nature Trail, and breathtaking scenery surrounding Top of the Rock.
Big Cedar Lodge also plays host to an annual event on the PGA TOUR Champions schedule – the Bass Pro Shops Legends of Golf at Big Cedar Lodge. The event, which now takes place in April, is played at Top of the Rock, Buffalo Ridge Springs and the Mountain Top Course designed by Gary Player, and brings together some of the biggest names in golf.
