On May 19, the winners of the Ultratravel 100 Awards were announced. Named Best Golf Resort was Great Golf Resorts of the World (GGRW) member property The Gleneagles Hotel, shown above. Also chosen by readers was GGRW member Pebble Beach in Monterey, California. Telegraph readers were asked to name their favorite operators, cities, and hotels in more than 20 categories. This was the third year in a row that Gleneagles took the top prize.
