This summer, Streamsong Resort is giving golf enthusiasts and resort guests a unique opportunity to meet Golf Channel’s Matt Ginella through its Weekend with Ginella golf package. Aug. 23-24, golfers can rub shoulders with the popular TV personality and golf travel expert, while spending a weekend at one of the nation’s most critically-acclaimed links-style golf resorts.

With this package, guests will be treated to a private Q&A session with Matt about the game’s greatest golf course architects, an evening reception and 18 holes of golf (walking) on Streamsong Red (designed by Bill Coore and Ben Crenshaw) and 18 holes of golf (walking) on Streamsong Blue (designed by Renaissance Golf Design, Tom Doak). In addition to golf, this two-day, one-night VIP package includes meals and an opportunity to participate in an off-course activity of either 50 sporting clays or a two-hour guided bass fishing excursion on Sunday, Aug. 24, subject to availability.

The Weekend with Ginella golf package is available for $580 plus tax per person per night based on double occupancy or $625 plus tax per person per night based on single occupancy. Advance reservations are required to participate in the event.

Ginella has been a popular figure on Golf Channel’s Morning Drive since 2013. He is the Golf Channel’s resident travel insider, writing forGolfChannel.com, and has been covering golf since 1995. In that time, he’s covered more than 30 Major Championships, including every Ryder Cup since 1997. Ginella has traveled around the world to play the greatest golf courses and is very knowledgeable about golf course architecture.
